CT Technologist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, along with general diagnostic radiology examinations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care while adhering to safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for procedures.
- Review clinical data and obtain additional patient medical history as necessary.
- Prepare procedure rooms, regularly replenish stock, and manage equipment setup.
- Perform CT scans while ensuring patient safety through radiation protection measures.
- Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for possible reactions.
- Assist radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures in medical records and radiology information systems.
- Exhibit team member standards of excellence in communication and customer service.
Schedule
This position requires night shift availability from 11 PM to 7 AM, working every other weekend.
