Job description
Functions : Assist the Senior Order Planner in the duties related to the processing of
production orders and accurate inventory procedures. Under the direction of
the Shop Coordinator, provide support for additional duties as instructed.
Qualifications :
Industry experience beneficial
Possess good mathematical and analytical skill sets
Reliable, organized, detailed orientated and the ability to multi-task
Working knowledge of a computer, 10-key and basic typing skills
Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet set target dates and deadlines
Good written and oral communication skills in English for interacting and coordinating work within different departments of our organization
Understand how a manufacturing plant functions by moving parts through a logical operation process and maintain bill of material accuracy
Knowledge and understanding of screw conveyor parts, components, and raw materials and parts necessary to produce the complete product.
High School Graduate a requirement.
College a plus
Responsibilities – Order Planner :
Process production orders per order write-up
Create work orders and requisitions as required
Ensure engineered drawings are organized and filed properly and distributed to shop employees as needed
Other duties as assigned by management
Conducts cycle counts as needed to ensure inventory accuracy
Assist in annual / bi-annual inventory counting, etc….
Responsibilities – Shop-Office Support :
Process RGA’s for accurate use of inventory variables
Generate cut lengths and files for the Torchmate operation, in compliance of local regulations
Download files in Torchmate and trouble shoot as necessary
Other duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to work at a desk or computer for eight hours minimum.
Occasionally being out in the shop environment to capture inventory.
Work a 40-hour week with occasional overtime required.
Accountability :
Reports directly to the Senior Order Planner
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
