This Director’s responsibilities also include maintaining the purchasing/requisition and inventory software, supporting the monthly and year-end financial closing process and assisting the Vice President of Operations with vendor management and negotiationsESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESVendor Strategy & Contract Management: 30% • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements. • Evaluate vendor performance using quality, delivery, and cost criteria referenced in SHRM's vendor management guidance. • Maintain compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
