Job descriptionMUST HAVE at least 5 years of asphalt paving experience, including efficient operation of a Leeboy paver. MUST be able to operate both sides of a paver. Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. Strong attention to detail and physical stamina for working outdoors in varying conditions. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator / Foreman
Schedule : Must be flexible due to location variation
Pay : $30.00 an Hour
Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator to join our growing family-owned business as a Foreman for our paving crew. This is a hands-on management role, where you will supervise and manage a paving crew while also actively participating in the paving operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of asphalt paving experience and be highly skilled in the operation of a Leeboy paver. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dedicated team and help drive the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage the paving crew to ensure quality asphalt application.
- Operate asphalt paving equipment, including pavers, rollers, motor graders, and skid steers.
- Coordinate and order materials as needed for ongoing projects.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper asphalt application, thickness, and smoothness.
- Assist with surface preparation, including grading, leveling, and cleaning.
- Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure that team members adhere to them.
- Collaborate with the foreman, project managers, and crew to ensure timely and successful project completion.
