Through this work you provide citizens with easier access to government information. However while an open and transparent government is essential to our work those working in this position are responsible for safeguarding information that may cause harm if duties and responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to : Analyze FOIPA administrative case notes searches and requester the processing of FOIPA imported records for responsiveness and and check systems for prior releases and duplicate and apply appropriate processing approaches per SOPs and and maintain clear and concise case notes in and appropriately handle Other Government Agency (OGA) line-by-line reviews of records and properly apply the applicable FOIPA exemption(s) (redactions).Consult with subject matter experts (SME) from various agency-specific components and high visibility releases with appropriate agency-specific components and to FOIPA administrative appeals and litigation appropriate research for background and context while processing FOIPA performance to ensure the delivery of timely high-quality work consistent with customer specifications while handling multiple projects independently as part of an integrated team and display high self-motivation and the ability to maintain an exceptional level of organization and time management skillsTraining : FOIA Analysts will attend an on-site paid six-week training course which will equip you with the skills needed to be successful in this the end of the training course you must pass an assessment the initial training course has concluded you will have 90 days of on-the-job be available to work between the hours of 6 : 00 a.m. and 6 : 00 p.m. Monday through Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows : Education / Experience : Must meet one of the following Degree3 years of specialized work experience including providing products and services similar to those outlined in this position descriptionMilitary experience of an analytical natureMust be able to obtain and maintain US government issued security clearanceMust successfully complete a computer-based assessment on typing skills with a score of 90% accuracy and 11 WPMMinimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities : Proficient computer skills including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel) Internet Browsers and SharePoint and capable of using complex records systems and computer to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to othersAbility to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when necessaryAbility to perform routine analytical administrative research and recordkeeping tasksAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers both in written and verbal communicationsPositive attitude focused on customer satisfactionAbility to show initiative and commitment to the companys goalsAbility to readily adapt to changing requirementsStrong commitment to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all timesOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
