Women's Residential-Volunteer
Location : This volunteer opportunity is based out of LifeWorks NW's Project Network site.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide a safe and secure environment for clients and their children.
- Organize, supervise and encourage client participation in recovery-oriented social, educational and recreational activities.
- Provide skills training in activities of daily living and , including meal preparation, housekeeping chores, interpersonal relationships, effective communication, etc.
- Provide support and assistance during site emergencies (inclement weather, earthquakes, fire, etc.), following site policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
- Accurately completes on-line trainings.
- Continually increase level of cultural sensitivity, awareness and competency.
REQUIREMENTS :
LifeWorks NW is a private, non-profit organization providing prevention, mental health, substance use treatment, and related social services to youths, adults, and older adults in over fifteen locations throughout Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties. LifeWorks NW promotes a healthy community by providing quality and culturally responsive mental health and addiction services across the lifespan.
