About PrescriberPoint :
PrescriberPoint is a Series A ($15M) start up, incubated by BCG Digital Ventures and funded by Lilly, Pfizer, Master Card and Adobe. It's a resource designed for U.S. healthcare professionals (HCPs) to streamline the process of prescribing medication. The platform provides a wealth of information, including drug dosage, label details, drug interactions, coverage restrictions, prior authorization requirements, and patient affordability information. The platform also offers tools for collaboration, both within practices and with pharmaceutical representatives, and is incorporating AI functionality into its offerings.
Role Overview
PrescriberPoint is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to building and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications that empower healthcare professionals with seamless access to crucial drug and prescription information. The ideal candidate is an experienced developer proficient in React, TypeScript, and core web technologies (ex. : NestJS, Next.js), with expertise in test-driven development, test automation, and search platform integration using tools like Elasticsearch or Algolia.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Build and maintain APIs and integrate third-party APIs to support application functionality.
- Optimize web applications for performance, particularly for mobile web environments.
- Design and implement search platform integrations (e.g., Elasticsearch, Algolia) to deliver fast and relevant search experiences.
- Work with document-based data stores, such as Azure Cosmos DB, for dynamic content management.
- Implement and maintain test-driven development (TDD) practices to ensure robust, maintainable code.
- Facilitate test automation to streamline testing processes and enhance deployment confidence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Employ web development best practices to ensure security, maintainability, and scalability.
- Monitor, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks and usability issues.
- Contribute to a culture of self-organization, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet delivery timelines.

Requirements
Salary : Ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and location. There is a 10% bonus as part of the package.
