Job descriptionClass A CDL Minimum 1 year of recent CDL-A experience, flatbed type trailer experience. Previous Jockey or Switcher experience (preferred) Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card Must be at least 21 years of age or older No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability 401 (k) with Company Match Annual Corporate Profit Sharing Wellness Program for yearly benefits discount Paid vacation and PTO; paid annual holidays
A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, full-time CDL-A Yard Jockey in Bridgeport, CT. There is a $2500.00 Sign on Bonus. As a Dedicated Jockey you will be moving trucks from the yard to the building and back; maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed.
Start Time : Is between 12 : 00 and 2 : 00PM , Monday to Friday, must be able to cover other shifts as needed
Pay Rate : $26.75 per hour
2500.00 Sign on Bonus
Must have at least 12 months recent CDL-A Flatbed trailer experience.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to :
- Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
- Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
- Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving each
- Connecting tractors to trailers
- Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
- Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
