The Police Department is comprised of dedicated professionals including the Chief of Police, 2 Captains, 3 Lieutenants, 1 Support Services Manager, 10 Sergeants, 9 Corporals, 39 Police Officers, 9 full-time Dispatchers and 3 part-time Dispatcher, Crime Analyst, CSI, Record Clerks, Community Services Officers, Cadets, Police Services Officers, and administrative staff.

Our Police Services Officers are part-time, non-sworn personnel who perform critical responsibilities supporting the law enforcement mission. PSOs engage with the community, address public safety concerns, assist sworn officers in investigations and ensure compliance with local and state regulations. Education : High school graduation or equivalent certification is required. College-level coursework in Criminal Justice or a related field is highly desirable.
Experience : Prior, extensive public contact and customer service experience requiring tact and discretion in dealing with others is required.
Required License : A valid California Class "C" Driver's License is required.
Special Requirement : Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include overtime, emergency call back, shift work, nights, holiday and weekends as needed.
