FREELANCE Community Manager

Reporting into : Senior Community Manager

Location : New York, NY

Your Role :

We are looking for a freelance Community Manager to join our team here in NYC. This person will be responsible for managing day-to-day social media activity across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat, Reddit and any new platforms to market). This person will ensure ongoing community engagement and growth.

What You Do :

• Own, develop and implement the social content calendar, working in collaboration with creative, strategy and client teams
• Plan, curate and create content and conversations to sustain community growth and fan engagement
• Build social listening queries, track engagements through native platform analytics and social listening / monitoring tools
• Set and deliver on tangible social KPIs
• Activate super-fan and surprise-and-delight strategies
• Explore, identify and stay on the pulse of new social developments and trends / channels / innovations / competitors in order to proactively direct current and future

Location :

McCann New York team members must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York Tristate area unless otherwise agreed upon by their manager and McCann New York’s Human Resources team. McCann New York is a hybrid workplace with three days in-office per week.

Salary Range :

Weekly rate range : $1600 – $1800.
