We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions while supporting payroll operations. This position is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to use technology, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Responsibilities include auditing and reconciling invoices processed through the automated system to ensure compliance with accounting standards, managing construction-in-progress billing by coordinating with project directors for accurate and timely invoice processing, providing outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries from stakeholders promptly and professionally, and maintaining and organizing documentation for all financial activities to support audits and compliance. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field, proficiency in invoice coding, processing, and check runs, strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices, familiarity with automated financial systems and reconciliation processes, exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records, strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
