Senior Product Manager
Maximus is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its Rosslyn, VA team. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in on-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure, with strong knowledge of enterprise systems, virtualization, and automation. They excel at translating strategic goals into actionable roadmaps and will provide SETA support and Agile product management to the Government Product Manager. This role is on-site, five days a week and requires an active TS / SCI security clearance.
Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Product Vision and Strategy : Define and execute product vision and roadmap for infrastructure services across hybrid environments, aligning with agency goals and user needs.
- SETA Support : Provide technical and strategic advisory support to the Government Product Manager, helping guide infrastructure decisions and execution.
- Agile Facilitation : Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of infrastructure features.
- Feature Prioritization : Prioritize infrastructure features and enhancements based on customer feedback, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility.
- Backlog and Sprint Management : Manage product backlogs and sprint planning, ensuring development teams focus on high-priority infrastructure capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and architects to deliver high-impact infrastructure solutions using agile methodologies.
- Technical Oversight : Understand the functionality and interoperability of virtualization platforms, cloud services, and automation tools.
- Security Approval : Understand system security requirements and facilitate the security approval process for infrastructure components.
- Documentation and Reporting : Document infrastructure architecture decisions, product updates, and project statuses for leadership and compliance reviews.
- Contingency Planning : Assist the PMO leadership in contingency operations planning for infrastructure systems.
- Government Acceptance : Develop acceptance criteria and facilitate demos to ensure infrastructure solutions meet government expectations.
- Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned / requested by PMO leadership.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements :
Active TS / SCI ClearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or another related field7+ years of experience in product management and / or project management, with a focus on infrastructure systems and software development lifecycles.Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and working with government stakeholders.Deep understanding of hybrid infrastructure architectures and cloud services (AWS, Azure)Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)Strong leadership and communication skillsProficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)Familiarity with security frameworks and FedRAMP complianceAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentExperience with SharePoint for reporting and collaborationStrong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Minimum Salary $116,500.00 Maximum Salary $160,000.00
