An independent watchdog organization supporting the expansion of global freedom and democracy. The organization is undergoing significant internal changes, including leadership transitions and a new collective bargaining agreement, presenting opportunities for impact during a critical period.
Job Description :
The HR Director will play a hands-on, generalist role, managing day-to-day HR functions during a transitional period. The position requires strong experience in union and labor relations, employee relations, investigations, and change management. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic HR professional to join an organization in flux and support key HR processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee core HR functions, including employee relations, labor relations, benefits, recruiting, investigations, and compensation changes.
- Manage updates and implementation related to a new collective bargaining agreement (signed November 1).
- Support internal investigations and performance management.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as DEI, payroll, benefits, and talent development.
- Ensure continuity and smooth HR operations during leadership and organizational transitions.
