Service Operations Engineer 1st Shift (Join OCI-Ns2)

Job DescriptionResponsibilities include; Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production server hardware and software.

Provide technical support for sophisticated technical issues which may include leading problem management cases and providing management status.

Coordinate support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and / or third party vendors to resolution and coordinate a storage infrastructure of Oracle system and database appliances.

Responsible for Oracle production environments; assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching;

and work on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack while providing consistent system uptime as expected in a Cloud environment.

Experience working with government customers is preferred, but not required.Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technical domains and then train others.

29 to $60.63 per hour; from $63,000 to $126,100 per annum. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
