Job description

Informatica and Oracle Lead Developer

Infosys is seeking an Informatica and Oracle Lead Developer to enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model. The role involves researching technologies independently, recommending appropriate solutions, contributing to technology-specific best practices and standards, and interfacing with key stakeholders throughout the software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in creating application architecture documentation to align deliverables with architectural requirements.
  • Create design artifacts and support prototyping through proof of concept development.
  • Deliver high?quality code and support peers in quality checks to meet design requirements; create user documentation for assigned modules.
  • Lead validation activities for all testing types (functional, integration, system, user experience, etc.).
  • Support creation of a Go Live plan and manage assigned activities.
  • Perform root?cause analysis of post?implementation issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, prepare system appreciation documents, and support the transition process.
  • Conduct impact analysis of logged issues, prioritize, and ensure production support meets committed SLAs.

Required Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the United States without employer?based visa sponsorship.
  • Located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ, or willing to relocate; travel within the US may be required.
  • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or equivalent progressive experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of information technology experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Informatica ETL and Oracle.
  • Experience implementing data warehouses and data marts end?to?end.
  • Strong knowledge and hands?on experience with SQL and Unix shell scripting.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
  • Experience with relational modeling, dimensional modeling, and modeling of unstructured data.
  • Understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
  • Experience in the banking domain.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in diverse, multi?stakeholder teams.
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

  • Pennington, NJ : $76,071 to $98,893
  • Jersey City, NJ : $82,419 to $107,145
