Summary : As an Internal and Direct Hire Recruiter Intern at Surge Staffing, you will embark on a journey to learn the intricacies of talent acquisition and recruitment strategies.

This internship provides a hands-on experience in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for both internal positions and direct hire placements.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for internal positions and direct hire placements.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Support in drafting job descriptions and posting job openings on relevant platforms.
• Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and priorities.
• Assist in negotiating offers and facilitating the onboarding process for selected candidates.
• Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and campus visits to attract top talent.

Additional Duties :

• Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including scheduling meetings and organizing candidate files.
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Assist in creating and updating recruitment metrics and reports to track key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with organizational goals.

Qualifications :

• At least a Junior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for talent acquisition and recruitment.
