Experienced SAP Technical Developer with strong ABAP skills and hands-on experience in S / 4HANA and SAP integration technologies. This role will collaborate closely with SAP Testing Analysts, Functional Consultants, and Business Stakeholders to develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications that support AMETEK's enterprise processes.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and a proactive approach to supporting high-quality SAP implementations and upgrades. You will play a critical role in the design and execution of SAP technical solutions that align with business goals while ensuring they are testable, scalable, and supportable.

Develop, customize, and optimize SAP applications using ABAP, ABAP Objects, and SAP development tools (Eclipse, SE80, etc.)

Design and build enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEFW) within the SAP ecosystem.

Collaborate with functional consultants and testers to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements and testability standards.

Support S / 4HANA implementation and migration projects, including adapting existing code for HANA compatibility.

Develop and support SAP Fiori / UI5 applications and OData services, where applicable.

Work with testing analysts to support automated test scripts (Tosca Tricentis) by ensuring stable, testable code.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of technical issues.

Support integration of SAP with external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with development standards.

Engage in Agile and DevOps practices for continuous improvement and rapid delivery cycles.

Provide production support for SAP technical issues and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications : Overall Experience :

6-8 years of experience in SAP technical development, including minimum 2-3 years in SAP S / 4HANA environments.

Proven experience in SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI / CO, and PP.

Strong proficiency in ABAP, ABAP Objects, and debugging techniques.

Experience in SAP Gateway, OData services, and SAP Fiori / UI5 (preferred).

Solid experience in IDoc configuration and troubleshooting.

Understanding of SAP Workflow and BADI / User Exit / Enhancement frameworks.

Knowledge of integration platforms and middleware (SAP PI / PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, etc.).

Familiarity with performance tuning, memory management, and code optimization.

Basic knowledge of test automation tools like Tosca Tricentis is a plus.

Proficient with SAP development tools (ADT, SE80, SAP GUI).

Experience with version control, DevOps pipelines, and agile development practices.

Familiarity with test management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
