of Openings :
- Maintain EHS training records including, first responders, electrical safety, WWS, lockout tagout, hazard communication, driver / vehicle safety, incident reporting and response, fire extinguishers, hand and power tools, PPE, etc.
- Maintain the training records, including HAZWOPER and Confined Space. Certify that mandatory training has been completed on a timely basis and is documented.
Schedule retraining and license or permit renewals as needed.
Perform and document job site inspections / audits. Complete approved jobsite inspection checklist including written summary of conditions on the jobsite including safety hazards or unsafe conditions and how they were abated.
Effectively communicate and distribute finished product to management and field personnel. Implement corrective action plans as necessary.
- Determine appropriate levels and standards for company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Some travel required, including overnight stays, throughout the Midwest Region (MI, OH, IN)
Minimum Physical Requirements
Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, walking, and maneuvering around off-site facilities. Will have normal office working conditions and be required to use a computer and phone.

Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities.
Desired Education / Licensure
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills / Experience
- 7+ years of safety experience, at least 5 years managing a structured safety program. Experience in Engineering, Architectural, and Construction services industry strongly desired.
- In-depth technical knowledge of construction-related OSHA, federal, state, and local regulatory standards, and the ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective practices.
- Health and safety experience within diverse work environments
- Experience with change management
- Safety, Environmental, and / or Industrial Hygiene Certification is highly desired (GISP, ASP, CSP, CIH, ARM)
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must be an effective communicator, generate professional written material, understand change management techniques, and deliver effective verbal presentations.
