Senior Project Manager - IT
The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Manager - IT is to manage resources, schedules, and financials as well as leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage the successful delivery of business initiatives leveraging third-party resources (i.e. inter departmental, vendors, contractor). Successfully plan and execute medium to large sized, including complex projects (in terms of team size and average duration). Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. Develop new ideas into business solutions based on industry experience, best practices and new learnings gained through contact with customers, prospects and internal users. Exercise staff oversight to ensure team members are managing their time effectively to produce deliverables. Plan and execute large to extra-large sized projects (in terms of team size and average duration) that support the company needs. Provide direction, govern, and manage relationships at all levels. Create inspiring vision of the future, motivate others to engage in that vision and manage the delivery of that vision. Ensure that the right product is delivered to meet or exceed company's quality standard and is delivered at the right time. Lead a cross-functional team, managing internal and external partners to identify and define technology needs based on product and marketing business requirements. Bring new products to consumers in an engaging, functional way, while opening fresh distribution channels and collaborating with other departments. Work with internal information technology resources and external partners to develop technology roadmaps and release processes and schedules. Assist in the development and delivers against the business product roadmaps. Oversee product life cycle from strategic planning, execution, deployment and analysis. Develop project plans for large to extra-large sized projects based upon defined high-level features, functions, and defined project success criteria. Estimate resources to support defined project plans and project goals. Assign project tasks to appropriate resources and communicate expectations and accountabilities in a timely and clear fashion.

Identify and manage project issues and risks throughout the life of the project, developing action and contingency plans as appropriate. Communicate project status and manages expectations with project stakeholders on an on-going basis. Validate project deliverables against scope and quality expectations and participates in project stage-gates (including project post-mortems or wrap-ups), identifying opportunities for execution and process improvement. Participate in process improvement activities to optimize delivery efficiency and cost effectiveness. Focus on delivering projects that satisfy business requirements at an agreed upon cost and schedule. Coordinate with other IT professionals, business sponsors and stakeholders, potentially outside of their property location, and external resources, including vendors, service providers, and strategic business partners. Utilize the enterprise standards for project process and the enterprise tools to deliver projects that meet the Venation Resort quality standards. Train, tutor, or instruct other Team Members. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
