Technical Support Engineer- Storage expert
As part of our strong growth, Evernex is looking for several Expert support engineers for storage technologies, to join our experts’ team in charge of our MVS activity.
The Expert Support Engineers are responsible for guaranteeing the highest level of technical expertise required for Evernex's MVS activity.
They are actively involved in the Evernex Global Experts Team to animate and lead the support on the storage technologies.
Thanks to a strong experience on IT environment, the experts are very familiar with other technical environments linked to the storage technologies such as SAN, Network, Unix and x86 Servers.
Key responsibilities :
- Handling critical customer cases requiring an advanced level of technical expertise in storage technologies
- Technical escalations management (meeting animation, RCA writing, etc )
- Evernex Technical Academy
- Active on writing and teaching courses (Audience : Field Engineers, Support Engineers, and Experts)
- Maintaining and developing our storage laboratory (test platform, customer-type configurations, etc.)
- R&D projects
- Support for Sales and Presales teams
- Special Advisor for other Evernex activities (Professional Services, Spaas, IMAC & ITAD)
- Sharing the knowledge to all Evernex OPS Regions (50 countries & 700 Field / Support Engineers)
- Propose improvements related to :
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting methods
- Intervention procedures
- Evernex knowledge database
- Evernex Service Requests management solution
- Evernex monitoring solution
- Products Catalog (technical feasibility matrix)
- Key projects identified by the Global Technical Director
- Attend to the global 24 / 7 on-call duty team
Job requirements :
- Minimum of 7 years Technical Support experience
- Experience in on-site technical support and remote technical support
- Extensive knowledge of high-end Storage technologies
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science

Work conditions & environment :
- Ensure the availability of services outside office hours, evenings, and weekends. Availability in case of escalation.
