Job Description

General Purpose :

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating a pipeline of customer prospects for our Cloud based products and services .

This position will work closely with marketing and other sales groups to achieve success metrics to drive revenue gains and executing outreach strategies.

Reports to (Supervisor / Manager) :

Manager, Sales Development

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manages campaigns and cadences to identify Sales Qualified Leads.
  • Meets or exceeds monthly / quarterly / annual appointment setting goals.
  • Identifies pain points, priorities, and business compatibility.
  • Conveys how products and solutions can help achieve business communication goals.
  • Converts to a sales-qualified lead or opportunity for our sales team to grow into a successful, long-term customer.
  • Develops sales strategies to draw in potential customers or to solicit new potential customers.
  • Initiates contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from advertisements.
  • Fosters relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify.

Other Responsibilities :

  • Collaborates with marketing team to write, test, and optimize call scripts and sequential follow-up communications.
  • Tracks and reports marketing qualification within Salesforce.
  • Helps maintain and enrich the Salesforce database.

Required Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience in Sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills : ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of online communications tools and applications.

Other Qualifications :

  • Experience in the technology / communications industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of current demand gen tactics, marketing automation, and digital marketing tools, content syndication, webinars, paid social, affiliate marketing, and pay per lead programs preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills preferred.
