Salary : $125,000-$155,000 plus equity
The Regional Manager oversees all Studs studios across New York City, ensuring each location delivers consistent financial performance, operational excellence, and an exceptional guest experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader plays a critical role in Studs' founding marketmaintaining high standards across established studios while supporting continued growth and refinement of our retail model.
This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on field partnership, working closely with Studio Managers and HQ partners to strengthen execution, culture, and results across the NYC fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead day-to-day retail performance across all NYC studios, owning revenue, labor efficiency, and key performance metrics.
- Ensure consistency in staffing, scheduling, visual presentation, and service standards that reflect the Studs brand.
- Analyze studio results to identify opportunities, develop corrective action plans, and drive accountability to targets.
- Partner cross-functionally on new studio openings, process improvements, and local operational initiatives.
People Leadership & Development
Manage and coach Studio Managers to deliver strong team performance, engagement, and retention.Build leadership bench strength and succession readiness across NYC studios.Partner with People, Retail Training, and Piercing Education teams to ensure effective onboarding, development, and performance management.Uphold a culture of accountability, inclusion, and feedback; model Studs' values and leadership expectations.Strategic Partnership & Growth
Serve as a field partner to the CEO and Retail leadership, providing grounded insight from Studs' flagship market.Collaborate with Finance and Retail Ops on labor planning, headcount alignment, and P&L optimization.Represent studio perspectives in HQ initiatives to ensure operational feasibility and strong execution.Lead regional business reviews, talent calibration, and communication cascades.Requirements
7+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience, ideally in service-driven or experiential environments (e.g. beauty, hospitality, or specialty retail).Proven success managing P&L, labor %, and revenue growth across multiple stores in a metropolitan market.Strong leadership, coaching, and people-development background.Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to collaborate across functions and levels.Based in or willing to relocate to NYC; frequent local travel required, with occasional national travel for offsites or openings.Weekend and evening availability for studio visits and key events.Benefits & Perks
