DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring complex administrative and management work within the Bureau of Emergency Preparedness and Response and the co-located Bureau of Emergency Medical Services which serves as the backbone of our mission to ensure the public's health and medical needs can still be addressed during times of crisis. Your primary focus will be the management of contractual documents, as well as the procurement of services and goods, monitoring the expenditure of preparedness funds, and assisting with invoices. Work involves moderate to complex research and problem-solving, reviewing and preparing contract and procurement documents and invoices, processing and submitting contractual documents, and preparing correspondence and other related documents. You will also be expected to prepare and lead meetings and presentations, explain contractual and procurement procedures, and assist project officers, program staff, and other administrative staff.
