Position Overview
The Contract Specialist supports the Sales and Legal teams for the charitable gaming line of business of LNW Gaming (dba Grover Gaming) primarily via :
- Contract document drafting and review
- Contract database and file maintenance
- Contract searches
- Research
- Special projects
Key Responsibilities
The Contract Specialist will :
Prepare documents, agreements, and instruments (such as sales and lease agreements) using standardized templatesUnderstand LNW Gaming's business, culture, products, markets, facilities, customers, and competitors; and utilize that knowledge working with internal / external clientsCoordinate with LNW Gaming's sales team to generate contract documents for gaming / systems equipmentMaintain contract database and tracking / filing system for legal documentsEnsure contracts include appropriate approvals and meet compliance regulationsBuild credibility and create an atmosphere of positive teamwork and problem solvingMaintain consistent communications with internal / external clients, including in-person discussions, telephone calls, and emailsMeet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPrioritize workload to meet customer needsConduct research on projects, as directedUndertake ad hoc projects, as directedQualifications
The ideal candidate will have :
Bachelor's DegreeParalegal degree or certification preferred3-5 years of corporate legal experiencePrior work in the casino gaming industry preferredAbility to work independently while functioning well in a team environmentApply logic and rationale to solve problemsUse computer software as needed, including Oracle, LinkSquares, Microsoft 365, Teams, SalesForce, Sharepoint, DocuSign etc.Manage a daily workload and prioritize multiple tasksUnderstand general business operations, issues, and dynamics beyond the scope of basic legal issuesAttention to detail and excellent organization skills to ensure a high level of accuracyExcellent communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize, be proactive, take initiative, and ensure follow-throughWhy Join Us?
