Procurement Specialist

A company is looking for a Specialist, Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Perform procurement activities including acquisition of materials and services meeting schedule, safety, and quality standards

Conduct price / cost analysis and provide proposal support

Manage government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of procurement experience, or a Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of procurement experience, or 8 years of prior procurement experience in lieu of a degree

Experience with government buying and familiarity with FAR / DFAR requirements

Ability to issue supplier contracts above the micro-purchase level ($10k)

Capability to support supplier contracts above TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance
