Brand Marketing Soccer Lead
The City Brand Management Team is the marketing function responsible for leading and driving plans that serve the brand and business in a global key city for Nike. Our goal is to know & serve inspiration, innovation and enablement to unlock the power of sport for every athlete.
We're looking for a Brand Marketing Soccer Lead to join our Nike NYC Brand Marketing team. The NYC Brand Marketing Soccer lead will be responsible for creating and managing our seasonal brand plans, always-on priorities, and relationships while collaborating closely with North America and Global functional and city partners. This role will focus on driving the marketplace amplification, strategy & execution of Global Soccer priority concepts in New York.

As a Brand Marketing Lead for Soccer in NYC, you are responsible for bringing our seasonal brand plans to life - work that will drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand, and strengthen our daily connection with members. Leading with insights, you will obsess how to make our brand, product, and services resonate with our Soccer consumer, while driving a networked offense across Global, Geo and City Teams.
As the NYC Brand Marketing Soccer Brand Lead, you will :
- Create and develop seasonal brand marketing plans
- Partner with key cross-functional team members to define, adapt, extend, and execute key experiences for consumers and members
- Manage on-the-ground relationships in the city with key consumer, community and grassroots soccer organizations
- Pioneering new ways of unlocking an always-on grassroots soccer proposition to complement seasonal priorities
- Manage and foster collaboration throughout the Consumer Code process to engage with our key cross-functional partners.
- Support an end-to-end process, with strong organizational skills
- Compile and unpack insights from consumers
- Oversee product integration into seasonal programming
- Manage asset development and distribution across multiple channels to ensure purposeful and choreographed storytelling
What you bring :
5+ years' experience in consumer marketing or related experience in retail marketing and / or digital brand marketingBachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or combination of relevant education, experience and trainingExtensive knowledge around the Soccer landscape and cultureDeep passion and understanding of the Soccer consumer, trends, modalities, product, sources of influenceExcellent internal relationship-building skills with ability to influence working teams and key partners, gaining sponsorship and buy-in from many levelsExcellent external relationship-building and management skills with ability to forge strong partnerships that extend the impact the brand has on the consumer and local communitiesStrong written, visual, and verbal / presentation skillsExperience working within teams and a team-first mentalitySelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile culturesomeone who embraces and leads through change and ambiguityDigital marketing acumen and creator-led content experienceAbility to balance creativity with organization and subject area in fast moving, ambiguous environmentFluency reading consumer data and crafting measurement and optimization plansStrong project management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skillsDetail oriented.
