POSITION PROFILE :
Safran Defense & Space, Inc. has a great opportunity for a Business Development Operations Analyst to join the Business Development team within the Optronics business unit.
This individual will be an important member in supporting business development managers in the processing of quotes to customers and receipt of purchase orders from customers in a timely manner.
In addition, this position interfaces directly with internal affiliates in France and Switzerland in terms of operations planning and driving supply and demand forecasts.
This individual will also help drive forecast and booking reports to stakeholders, driving insight into front-end operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES :

Process quotes and purchase order receipts per standard internal operating procedures.
Maintain and distribute sales forecast and booking reports.
Change management champion : assist the team in converting to new CRM Salesforce pipeline reporting and quoting tool.
Conduct S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings including coordination with operations personnel at the Optronics business unit and SED affiliates.
Prepare reports, distribute to stakeholders, and communicate actions items resulting from monthly meetings.
Strengthen sales administration relationships with various distributors, prospects, clients, and partners in the government contracting environment.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders in business process updates and changes.

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE :
Post-Grad with prior internship experience or 1 to 2 years working in an administrative environment.
Salesforce CRM experience a plus.
EDUCATION :
BA or BS in related field, or comparable work experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Fluency in the English Language is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
Salesforce CRM (not required but a plus)
SAP ERP System (not required but a plus)
Understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Project and Excel.
