Position Overview :
As a Solutions Architect, you will be a trusted technology advisor working across both organizations to design, propose, and implement comprehensive solutions that address complex customer requirements. You'll serve as the critical bridge between our sales, product, and engineering teams, translating business needs into technical architecture that leverage our platform capabilities.
You will work with diverse clients ranging from higher education institutions to state government agencies, helping them navigate digital transformation and optimize their use of our credentialing records management platforms. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence product roadmap priorities and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand business challenges, requirements, and organizational constraints.
- Develop comprehensive technical and business case recommendations that align customer objectives with Paradigm and @Gov platform capabilities.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures that integrate digital credentials, comprehensive learner records, digital apostilles, vital records management, and related services.
- Collaborate with sales teams to differentiate our offerings and accelerate deal cycles through strategic technical engagement.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to validate feasibility, identify capability gaps, and influence product development priorities.
- Provide post-sale technical guidance to ensure successful implementation and customer adoption.
- Build and maintain documentation of solution patterns, best practices, and reusable architectural components.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and architectural reviews with customers.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape in both higher education and government sectors.
Qualifications
Required Experience :
- 7+ years of experience in a solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or similar technical consulting role.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing enterprise software solutions with complex integrations and security requirements.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, API design, and microservices-based platforms.
- Experience in B2B SaaS environments with recurring revenue business models
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to executive and technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity.
Preferred Experience :
- Experience in higher education technology, credentialing systems, or ed-tech.
- Experience with government technology solutions, digital records management, or compliance-heavy environments.
- Knowledge of digital verification technologies, blockchain, or verifiable credentials.
- Familiarity with SOC2, FERPA, and other regulatory / compliance frameworks relevant to education and government.
- Experience with system integration platforms (iPaaS) or workflow automation tools.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Physical Requirements :
- This is primarily an office-based job that may require sitting for extended periods of time working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- Good vision, with or without corrective lenses, to sustain adequate visual focus over a period of time.
- Fine motor skills, including, but not limited to, the full, complete use of and muscle control required to make precise hand movements, relative to tasks requiring hand-eye coordination, muscle coordination and dexterity.
