Job Description

Enterprise Technology (ET) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The Technical Business Analyst (TBA) will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, leveraging their expertise to analyze, define, and document requirements for complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both business processes and technical systems, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

The TBA should also have a solid understanding of technical concepts, such as software development methodologies, databases, and systems architecture.

Essential Duties

• Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
• Convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
• Analyze and optimize existing business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of technical solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and drive consensus.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, technical specifications, and process flows.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree AND two years of experience in procedural, management or systems analysis work; OR, Six years of experience in procedural, management, or systems analysis work;

OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on technical projects.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and validation.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements, technology advancements, and business priorities, and ability to quickly learn and apply new skills as needed.
• Experience working with software engineers on large projects and products.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools Jira, Confluence).
• Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools SQL, Tableau).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to model empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence

Working Environment

• Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse.
• Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.
• Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.
• Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and / or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
• Clearly communicate to perform essential functions.
