A professional services consulting firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Recruiter to own the full recruitment lifecycle across a range of roles. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers, build out candidate pipelines, and guide the hiring process from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding. The ideal candidate brings strong instincts for evaluating talent, works well under pressure, and can juggle multiple requisitions without losing momentum.
Key responsibilities include conducting structured, competency-based interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit, facilitating post-interview debriefs with hiring managers and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the selection process, building and sustaining robust candidate networks and talent pipelines to support both immediate and future hiring needs, owning end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles and departments within the organization, leveraging the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage requisitions and providing ongoing support and guidance to hiring managers, and overseeing all stages of the candidate experience, including screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
Qualifications include 34 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a fast-paced or matrixed organization, at least 1 year of high-volume recruitment experience, working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment best practices, proficiency with ATS platforms, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook, strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships at all levels, comfort managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a pressured environment, and a bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
