Property Staff Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Commercial or Multi-Family Accounting Team. Responsibilities include full charge accounting for several commercial or multi-family properties. Day to day duties include, but are not limited to the following :

• Accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and various other reports as required by ownership / management.
• G / L account analysis and review.
• Annual budget preparation.
• Variance analysis.
• Coding invoices for accounts payable and review of the A / P input.
• Ensuring compliance with the management contracts.
• Maintain building and review & interpret lease files.
• Completion of CAM & RET Reconciliations (Only CM).
• Completion of YE Tax Workpapers.
• Assist with the acquisition and disposition of assets.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate with property management and company management.
• Special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Controller and / or CFO.
