A company is looking for an Award Management Officer to manage and ensure compliance for sponsored awards in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate incoming award terms and conditions, identify potential risks, and negotiate favorable terms
Accept awards or coordinate University endorsement when required
Advise faculty and staff on award management procedures and compliance
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 3-5+ years of relevant Contracts experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident due to federal export control regulations
Minimum of 2 years in research administration, contracts, or post-award management
Familiarity with sponsor systems such as eRA Commons and Research.gov preferred
Certification in Research Administration (CRA) is preferred
