As the Director of Partner Success, you will lead Boulder's payer partnerships and ensure every contract - from Medicaid MCOs to commercial value-based arrangements - is implemented flawlessly, performs to target, and expands over time. You will own payer relationships and contract performance across our value-based behavioral health programs, lead QBR preparation and presentation, and handle tactical coordination with payer partners. You'll deliver a seamless, data-driven partner experience grounded in operational excellence and measurable outcomes.
Success in this role includes :
- Own payer relationships post-contract signature; serve as the primary contact for all operational, quality, and performance matters
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and governance meetings, presenting contract performance, quality results, and improvement plans
- Oversee payer contract implementation in close collaboration with Credentialing, RCM, and Payer Operations, ensuring timely provider enrollment, roster accuracy, claims readiness, and payment flow from day one
- Monitor and manage contract performance in partnership with Director of Revenue & Payer Operations, including rates, utilization, risk corridors, and value-based incentive metrics
- Analyze quality and financial data in collaboration with Analytics and Clinical teams to identify drivers and corrective actions
- Translate payer feedback into operational improvements and inform future contract design
- Respond to payer inquiries and audits, resolving issues that could impact payment or compliance
- Develop playbooks, dashboards, and governance frameworks to scale Boulder's payer partnership function
What you bring :
Minimum 8 years experience in managed care, network management, or behavioral health operationsPrior leadership experience at a Medicaid or commercial health plan (Behavioral Health Director, Network Director, or equivalent)Deep understanding of Medicaid managed care, behavioral health contracting, and value-based reimbursementExperience leading or mentoring teams with strong delegation skillsExpertise in payer implementation processes, including credentialing, claims configuration, and revenue cycle workflowsStrong analytical, financial, and communication skills with executive presenceWork environment :
This is a fully remote role but we are currently only hiring candidates located in the following states : AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, and WV. This is a full-time remote position expected to work 40 hours between Monday-Friday.
Compensation :
The starting pay range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000; base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including equity grants in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave).
