Assistant Community Property Manager
We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Property Manager to join our affordable housing team. The ideal candidate will support the Community Manager in daily operations, compliance, and resident relations to ensure high-quality housing and exceptional service to residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with all aspects of property management for affordable housing communities, including leasing, rent collection, recertifications, and resident relations.
- Support compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing program requirements.
- Process and maintain resident files, certifications, and income verifications in accordance with federal, state, and local housing regulations.
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and work orders to ensure timely resolution and resident satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records in property management systems and prepare required reports for compliance and audits.
- Communicate professionally with residents, applicants, vendors, and community partners.
- Assist with community outreach and resident engagement activities to promote a positive living environment.
Requirements :
2+ years of experience in property management or affordable housing preferred.Knowledge of HUD, Tax Credit (LIHTC), or Section 8 programs required.Strong administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software.Commitment to supporting diverse communities with empathy and professionalism.
