Technical Account Manager
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join an organization in the advanced scientific instrumentation industry. This role is responsible for managing direct technical sales across the Western U.S., working closely with research institutions, universities, and industrial clients to deliver high-performance solutions for nanotechnology, materials science, and electron microscopy applications.
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, across assigned Western U.S. states
- Drive revenue growth through the promotion and sale of advanced scientific products and services
- Develop new business by building contact lists, qualifying leads, and converting prospects into long-term customers
- Collaborate with internal departments to align customer needs with product offerings and service capabilities
- Deliver customer proposals and detailed quotations for both immediate sales and long-term budget planning
- Track and document all sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline updates in the company's CRM system
- Attend conferences, events, and onsite meetings to expand territory penetration and customer engagement
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to sales leadership and product teams
- Partner with service and support staff to ensure post-sale satisfaction and strong client retention
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's product portfolio, industry trends, and competitive positioning
Technical Account Manager Requirements :
3-5+ years of technical sales experience in microscopy, chemical processing, materials science, or other related fieldBachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field is preferred but not requiredBilingual in English / Spanish is highly desirable
