THE ROLE

Legends Global Merchandise is looking for a resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious individual. This person will bring his / her administrative, communication and creativity skills to work closely with the Operations Manager and Store Manager to support The Ohio State retail team.

This individual will assist with the day-to-day operations at all Team Shop locations across campus for all varsity sports.

In turn, gaining valuable real-world experience and an understanding of both back-of and front-of house retail operations within college athletics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead a merch location on Ohio State Football Game days and lead all game setup. This includes inventory control, visual merchandising, and running a multi-person team on game days.
  • Create multi-platform social media posts
  • Assist Store Manager with day-to-day stocking, merchandising, and maintenance of The Team Shop.
  • Complete projects given and present to leadership.
  • Communicates with Program Team to ensure availability of merchandise; maintain accurate inventory.
  • Visually Merchandise up to locations with direction of managers.
  • Support the daily operational focus and or initiatives by helping productivity.
  • Assist in inventory and receiving merchandise.
  • Assist with moving any equipment as required for events.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong time management and project management skills; ability to multitask in a fast paced, environment.
  • Ability to work both in a team setting and individually.
  • Resourceful, creative, innovative, intellectually curious.
  • Current college student with minimum cumulative GPA (Fashion / Retail, Sports Industry, Hospitality or related field).
  • Able to lift up to pounds in weight.
  • Flexible schedule and availability for weekends and possibly holidays.

COMPENSATION

Competitive hourly rate.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Internship timeline weeks (Fall Semester) chance for year round internship (fall and spring semester)
