Sales Tax Accounts Payable Specialist

Insight Global is looking for a Sales Tax Accounts Payable Specialist to work hybrid out of NYC. The primary responsibility of this role is to reconcile our sales tax payable account by matching data from TaxJar to NetSuite for each state. The specialist will investigate any discrepancies between the two systems to identify missing transactions, incorrect entries, or amounts that should be written off. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance. Experience with TaxJar and NetSuite is highly preferred, along with proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of sales tax processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience reconciling sales tax using TaxJar and NetSuite tax systems
• Accounting background, specifically reconciling accounts
• Experienced with Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong problem-solving skills
