Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual standard cost setting process at all sites for both manufactured and purchased products.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Operations team to develop quarterly forecasts and annual budget
• Support Integrated Business Plan process
• Analyze and reconcile COGS and inventory transactions for accuracy and completeness in support of monthly close reporting and prepare required supporting documentation.
• Calculate inventory reserves.
• Cost Accounting system implementation is a plus.
• Review work order variances with the product team.
• Assist Month End close, as required.
• Work with outside auditing firm during annual audit.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
• Develop Executive level reporting mechanisms to explain monthly results vs budget.
• Identify levers to assist business teams in closing gaps to budget.
• Drive and support continuous improvement and change management efforts across the organization.
• Work with operational personnel on make / buy decisions, capacity constraints

Education :

B.S. / B.A. in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution

Experience :

5+ years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferably Medical Device industry.
