Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, network troubleshooting, syslog-ng, and programming. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure solutions to enhance our operational efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Linux Administration : Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Network Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal network performance.
• Syslog-ng Management : Configure and manage syslog-ng for centralized logging and monitoring from various servers i.e. servers (both linux and windows platforms), firewall appliances, proxies etc.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources
• Programming : Have strong skills in at least one of the higher-level programming languages such as Python, Go etc. to handle automation tasks
• Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of infrastructure solutions.
• Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation processes and infrastructure configurations.
• Monitoring and Optimization : Continuously monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Familiarity with Kafka, Elastic Search, Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL

Experience with programmatically reading / writing to databases

Experience with programmatically consuming from and publishing to Kafka

Experience with programmatically using REST, gRPC or GraphQL

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00 / hr.
