About The Role

Boston Scientific is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the Research Contracts Center of Excellence as a Contract Administrator II. In this role, you will support global clinical studies by preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of clinical study agreements and related documents. You will collaborate with internal business partners and external vendors to facilitate an efficient and effective contracting process across multiple international sites. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Prepare clinical study agreements and related documents using Boston Scientific-approved templates for studies conducted globally
  • Independently review and redline proposed revisions based on Boston Scientific's standards and procedures
  • Escalate and resolve contract issues in coordination with Legal, Risk Management, clinical teams, and other internal stakeholders
  • Manage and prioritize a high-volume workload in a dynamic environment
  • Act as a liaison with Boston Scientific Clinical, Contract Research Organizations, and Global Clinical Operations contract support teams
  • Triage group mailbox requests and route contracts for review by the appropriate team members
  • Coordinate meeting schedules for the Global Regulatory Legal team and maintain meeting minutes
  • Maintain and update the active clinical studies tracking spreadsheet
  • Ensure proper execution of agreements and upload to the contract management system
  • Organize and manage contract records across internal systems including Microsoft Teams
  • Identify and propose improvements to enhance contract processes and workflow efficiency

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with a bachelor's degree OR high school diploma, GED, or associate degree with minimum of 5 years' experience in a related role
  • Basic understanding of clinical contracting terms and conditions
  • Ability to read and interpret contract terms, redline agreements, and apply practical, business-focused judgment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe software
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in a medical device or healthcare company
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy
  • Experience communicating with global internal stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with contract management tools such as iManage
  • Prior involvement in operational improvement projects such as template or policy development
  • Experience with international contracting
