Maxar Technologies. is looking to add a Software Developer who can design, develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and track processes for client services and production.

Interact with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources;

interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.

A professional that uses their understanding of their area of specialization to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

This position networks with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise. Receives guidance on day-to-day work and only specific instruction on new assignments.

The position entails hybrid development, and the selected candidate will join a small team of developers led by an informed, technical, and hands-on customer.

This customer has led similar efforts in the past and is known for providing clear direction and technical resources.

Our project is an enterprise N LP application that extracts and curates entities to be stored in a graph database and displayed in a network visualization tool that provides data analysis that supports requirements from multiple intelligence agencies.

The project needs comprehensive back-end support to make an impact. Several of our tools have been released as prototypes and are already garnering interest within the intelligence community, especially in relation to current world events.

Day-to-Day with your Colleagues :

Using Python libraries like Fast API, sql alchemy, gen sim, spa Cy, and more.

Work closely with the customer and team lead on quick-turn RF Is to decision makers.

Interact closely with intel analysts to better understand the mission at large and how our work accelerates / compounds their analysis.

Learn new methodologies on the job that can contribute to the mission.

Minimum Requirements :

Current / active TS / SCI security clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field (4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

A Master's degree may count as 2 years of experience.).

5+ years demonstrated experience with programming, design, and development.

In-depth of knowledge in Python.

Experience using frameworks like Fast API and Flask.

Experience with sql and nosql querying languages.

Experience with the ETL process.
