Job Title : Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Faculty Opening

Position Overview

The Ohio University College of Nursing invites applicants for a part-time or full-time faculty appointment for candidates with specialization as a pediatric primary care advanced practice nurse.

We are seeking faculty committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, practice, and service. This is a 12-month tenure track, clinical track, or associated faculty position.

Appointment and rank will be based on qualifications and experience of the candidate. Under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Graduate Clinical Programs, faculty will be responsible for teaching the didactic courses as well as the clinical supervision in the pediatric primary care advanced practice specialty track in the Master’s and DNP Program.

Effectively work with students, faculty, and preceptors; Deliver evidenced-based curriculum that meets national standards to students;

and Successfully participate in a team teaching environment

Education and Experience Requirements

Required : Doctorate Degree in Nursing; National certification as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner; Two years of practice as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority;

Current Ohio advanced practice nursing license (or license eligible).

Desired : Two years of recent teaching experience in a graduate nursing program is preferred.
