The Opportunity

We're looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer II to join our team (Preferably in Austin, TX but not mandatory). Come join a globally distributed team of talented Cloud Operations engineers working with Planview's flagship Portfolios product. Planview Portfolios is Planview's Enterprise Portfolio and Work Management solution. It orchestrates all work and resources dynamically through integrated portfolios across projects, programs, people, products, technology, and capabilities, within a common user experience.

What You'll Do

Our Cloud Operations Engineers are passionate about automation and infrastructure in the cloud. They work closely with our Development and Support teams to advise on best practices, and help to create secure, scalable, and manageable solutions in our production environments. Their diverse skillset allows them to design, develop, and debug customer production environments.

• Maintain customer environments, applying application and infrastructure updates
• Triage and help remediate production infrastructure, and application issues when needed
• Participate in on-call rotation - We have a 24x5 follow the sun team with only one weekend on call shift every 13 weeks
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to improve application robustness and software delivery into our production environments
• Maintain reliable backup solutions and conduct regular restore drills
• Apply cloud security best practices
