NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, technical, and other professional skills that support to the Bureau of Land Management through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).

Qualifications :
Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in Engineering OR HS / GED Degree with minimum additional experience of 5 year(s) in Engineering OR Previously completed training in Not applicable
Duties :
This position contributes important engineering work to support our National timber sale programs and targets ? including stewardship projects and hazardous fuels reduction projects. It supports the completion of forest engineering packages for the sale of green timber, burned timber, and forest pathogen-induced dead and dying timber. The Civil Engineering Tech (CET) positions are vital and instrumental in achieving our annual timber target and addressing forest health issues related to climate change. These positions also provide mentoring of new CET's in moving our team forward for a robust workforce. The project description outlines the specific tasks and responsibilities associated with the project. It emphasizes key work accomplishments and, whenever possible, includes measurable goals to be achieved.
