Fire Alarm System Designer Requirements :
- 5+ years’ experience
- NICET Level I or higher desired
- Demonstrated ability with AutoCAD
- Must be self-motivated and work well with others
- Detail oriented and organized with great communication skills
- Ability to travel to job sites and attend meetings when necessary
Fire Alarm Designer Responsibilities :
- Prepare design drawings, specifications, and schematics for fire alarm systems
- Coordinate with project managers, installers, and sales
- Ensure project designs are in compliance with Federal, State, and local codes
- Estimating & scheduling of project design hours
