Accounting Clerk
Job Description : is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing various clerical tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Responsibilities :
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and collections
Prepare and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for payment
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in the general ledger
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
Prepare and distribute financial reports and analysis as needed
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets
Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding accounting matters
Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office applications, especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
