California Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diversified accounting, auditing, and tax assignments with minimal supervision

Prepare complicated tax returns and provide tax planning suggestions

Direct and instruct assistants in their work and review completed tasks

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field plus 4 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience

Expertise in public accounting with a progression in complexity of tasks

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting / tax software such as Quickbooks and CCH

Knowledge of GAAP and ability to review financial statements and propose adjustments

Experience in tax reconciliations and compliance with federal and state tax laws
