Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Surgery Vascular job in Columbus, OH paying $135/hour - $145/hour.

About Locum Physician Assistant (PA) Jobs:

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Conduct patient histories and physical examinations.

  • Perform procedures as authorized by state regulations and the supervising physician.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in performing relevant physical examinations and procedures.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Time management and organizational skills to manage a patient workload effectively.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program.

License & Certifications:

  • Active and unencumbered PA license in Ohio
  • National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Experience:

  • While requirements may vary, most locum PA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of clinical experience in their area of specialty.
