Job Summary : We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician with CNC experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on machinery, with a focus on CNC equipment.
In addition to technical proficiency, the candidate should have experience reading and interpreting blueprints. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, including CNC equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts on machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to prioritize and address maintenance needs.
- Utilize blueprints and technical manuals to understand equipment specifications and troubleshoot problems.
- Install and set up new machinery, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements performed.
- Comply with safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or certification in maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic Technician, with a focus on CNC equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and conduct repairs on CNC machines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies.
