Job Description

As the Senior Financial Analyst you will develop and execute financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies. Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Monitor and analyze production costs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgetary goals. Assist with basic accounting as needed. Implement strategies to enhance cost-effectiveness across the manufacturing process. Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the financial health of manufacturing operations. Develop and present insightful reports to senior management, highlighting trends and recommending corrective actions. Drive initiatives to improve overall financial performance and operational excellence. Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable recommendations. Collaborate with operational teams to understand and communicate the financial impact of production-related decisions. Work closely with various departments to ensure financial goals align with overall business objectives. Provide financial guidance to support decision-making processes and drive continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

As a Senior Financial Analyst you will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus. Proven experience as a Financial Analyst in a manufacturing environment. Basic accounting exposure and experience. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role is on site and based in their offices in Santa Barbara.
